Spend time at the heart of the Falun World Heritage Site. Stay for one or more nights at Konstmästargården which dates back to the 18th century; it was once the home of chief engineer Christopher Polhem. After a good night’s sleep wake up to the breath-taking view out across the huge Stora Stöten open pit, known in English as The Great Open Pit. There are seven rooms at Konstmästargården, two of them family rooms; there is free Wi-Fi and free parking.
